The Story
Our story begins with journeyman, young William Pock, who we come to see that for a host of reasons ain’t exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. In fact, William spends so much time sipping beer from a can discretely wrapped in a paper-sack that he gets to be known as Brown Bag Bill.
While walking the Tennessee countryside, Bill throws in his lot in with a guitar-slinging, songwriting army vet named John. The two of them eventually wind up in a Tennessee honeysuckle thicket. Here with the most limited of resources, they explore what it means to pursue their hopes and dreams from their humble confines.
Along the journey, however, our heroes start to experience a notion that their dreams might have dreams too. What’s a dream to do with a guy who sits on a log in a honeysuckle thicket by a campfire all day sipping beer from a papersack? We gotta get this guy’s attention if anything is ever going to happen around here! The gentle tug of a dream doesn’t seem to be enough. What happens if we spin up a tornado and send that through the honeysuckle thicket?!
